The cheetah lives in the open plains of Africa. The plains tend to be desert-like, have tall grass, are in open savannas, and can be very hot. When it's time for the cheetah to take shelter they use thick brush. You can find lots of animals in the cheetah's environment. For instance gazelle, lions, giraffes, elephants ,and hyenas.
